I am a licensed counselor with over 15 years of experience specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment based/ relationships, and addictions. My approach to therapy is open and supportive with the goal that we are in it together and I will meet you where you are as a supportive member of your team. Working through our issues in therapy is not easy but completely worth it to feel better and improve the quality of our lives. Yes you can do it and you don't have to do it alone. I will draw from my extensive background in counseling working with adults and teens through crisis, inpatient settings, pre and post partum care, families, couples, and substance rehab. I have training and certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), expressive art therapy, and working towards getting my certification in Internal Family Systems.

I received my Masters in Counseling from Webster University, St. Louis, MO in 2006 and my Bachelors from The University of Florida Gainesville, FL in 1998.  I currently reside in beautiful Gainesville, FL with my family and happy to offer telehealth appointments at this time.
